“There is no way I can get away during weekday office hours”
This branch is open on Sunday, 09:30–18:00. Weekdays run through to 20:30 with no lunch break, so a midday slot or an after-work slot both work. The only days we close are public holidays.
Myeongdong · Dermatology
Weekdays 09:30 to 20:30, Saturday and Sunday 09:30 to 18:00 — and no lunch break on any of them. 13 doctors cover 61 treatments across eight categories, two minutes from Euljiro 1-ga Station.
About
Abijou started in Gangnam in 2006 and opened the Myeongdong branch in March 2007. Myeongdong is where office workers and visitors to Seoul overlap, and a clinic that only opens on weekday afternoons misses most of both. Running with no lunch break and staying open on Sunday was a decision made for that reason. The line we work to is skin transformation woven into everyday life — care you can keep up with, rather than one dramatic intervention.

“Myeongdong is crowded — finding the place sounds like a hassle”
From Exit 6 of Euljiro 1-ga Station the above-ground walk is 183 m. Opposite Lotte Department Store, next to Apple Myeongdong, go into the ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong building and take the mall elevator down to B1.
“I am only in Korea for a few days and want to fit this in”
Abijou Medical Clinic Myeongdong is a registered foreign patient institution under Korean law, with English, Japanese and Chinese support at the branch. Because Sunday is a normal working day here, a weekend inside a short trip is bookable.
Why Myeongdong
Saturday and Sunday both run 09:30–18:00. The Gangnam and Hongdae branches close on Sunday, so if the weekend is the only window you have, this is the branch to book. The only days we close are public holidays.
Weekdays 09:30–20:30 and weekends 09:30–18:00 run straight through with no midday gap. That makes a lunch-hour appointment or an after-work slot easy to place.
A 2-minute walk from Exit 6 on Subway Line 2. Opposite Lotte Department Store, next to Apple Myeongdong, on B1 of the ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong building.
3 board-certified specialists and 10 general physicians, as registered with HIRA, Korea's Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. The branch has been running in Myeongdong since March 2007.

Treatments
Lifting alone covers eleven devices working on different principles. We narrow the category first, then cut it to two or three candidates and explain what separates them.
Eleven devices working on different principles — focused ultrasound, radiofrequency and microwave. Whether the laxity sits in the SMAS layer or is spread through the dermis decides which of them is even a candidate.
Nine options, split by whether texture, hydration or volume is the thing to fix first — from hyaluronic acid to collagen-stimulating and exosome formulations.
The same botulinum toxin produces completely different results depending on which muscle it goes into. Ten separate goals are listed separately — expression lines, masseter, salivary gland, temporalis, mouth corner, sweating — and you choose between domestic, premium domestic, German-made and US-made preparations.
Hyaluronic acid filler restores a hollow immediately; collagen stimulators such as Sculptra, Radiesse and ULTRACOL 200 build volume over time. Which route fits depends on the area and how long you want it to hold.
Melasma and dark spots, redness, slack pores, active acne and the scars left behind all have different causes. Five approaches, each with its own laser wavelength and its own interval between sessions.
Seven programs covering hydration, sebum, acne and calming, including LDM and a premium line. Also used to get skin into condition before and after a lifting or booster procedure.
Injectable regenerative therapy alongside Mint, Cog and Spiral thread lifting. Threads give support the moment they go in; the injections work by inducing regeneration over the weeks that follow.
Seven treatments for everything below the face. InMode Body, which is RF body contouring, and Core Sculpt, a high-intensity body contouring device, are not on the Gangnam or Hongdae treatment menus — the Myeongdong branch is where they run.

Almost every firming treatment is aiming at the same place. Heat, ultrasound or injection — each one signals the dermis to build collagen again. Read this first and the differences between the devices below land much faster.
2026-08-14
A thinning dermis, fat that has descended and fascia that has shifted all get described the same way. Working out which layer has moved is what narrows the eleven lifting devices at this branch down to a shortlist.
2026-08-14
Radiofrequency warms the dermis broadly so that collagen contracts. Thermage, Oligio, InMode, Tune Face and V-RO 2 Advance all belong to this family, and they still differ in how the energy is delivered.
2026-08-14
Ultrasound gathers heat into points at a set depth, passing the epidermis on the way. That is the line between it and radiofrequency, and it is how Ultherapy PRIME, Shurink Universe and Liftera work.

The substance blocks the signal travelling from nerve to muscle, so that muscle pulls less. Same substance, different muscle — which is why wrinkle, masseter, salivary gland and DAO toxin produce results that have nothing in common.

Two effects have to be counted separately — the support the thread gives the moment it is placed, and the collagen that forms around it afterwards. Cog, Spiral and Mint threads are built differently, so they hold differently.

FAQ
Yes. Abijou Medical Clinic Myeongdong sees patients on Sunday from 09:30 to 18:00, and Saturday runs the same hours. Both days run straight through with no lunch break. The Gangnam and Hongdae branches are closed on Sunday, so this is the Abijou branch to book if the weekend is your only window. The only days this branch closes are public holidays.
There is no lunch break here. Weekdays run 09:30–20:30 with nothing closed in between, and Saturday and Sunday run 09:30–18:00 the same way. The Gangnam and Hongdae branches take a 14:00–15:00 lunch break on weekdays; this branch does not, which is the practical difference if you are trying to use a midday hour.
Yes — both days are normal working days at this branch, 09:30 to 18:00. The one thing to check is whether your dates fall on a Korean public holiday, which is the only closure. Availability for specific times is shown live on the official reservation center.
Yes. Abijou Medical Clinic Myeongdong is a registered foreign patient institution under Korea's Act on Support for Overseas Expansion of Healthcare System and Attraction of Foreign Patients, and the registration is currently active. The designated target countries recorded on the registration are the United States, Japan and China. Registration is a filing with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and only registered institutions may lawfully attract foreign patients in Korea.
Look the clinic up in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Medical Korea registry at medicalkorea.or.kr. The registered representative for this branch is Cheol-su Yoon. The registry record shows the current registration status and the designated target countries, the United States among them. You do not have to take our word for it — the registry is the primary source.
Euljiro 1-ga Station on Subway Line 2, Exit 6, is the closest: 183 m, about a 2-minute walk. Taking the long way round it is 224 m, roughly 4 minutes. Myeongdong Station Exit 5 on Line 4 also works, though we do not publish a walking time for that route.
Come out of Exit 6 and look across from Lotte Department Store: Apple Myeongdong is the landmark, and the ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong building stands next to it. The address is 78 Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu — the TIMEWALK Building — and the clinic is on B1. Take the mall elevator down.
That is the usual pattern here. The clinic sits on B1 of a hotel building on the main Myeongdong shopping route, two minutes from Euljiro 1-ga Station Exit 6 and directly opposite Lotte Department Store. Because there is no lunch break and weekdays run to 20:30, there is no dead hour in the middle of the day to plan around.
Yes — the underground car park of the ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong building. Park there and take the mall elevator down to B1.
Opening hours, mostly. Myeongdong sees patients on Sunday 09:30–18:00 and runs weekdays to 20:30 with no lunch break, while Gangnam and Hongdae close on Sunday and on public holidays and take a 14:00–15:00 lunch break on weekdays. The treatment menus are close to identical, with the exception of InMode Body and Core Sculpt, which can only be booked at Myeongdong.
English, Japanese and Chinese support is available at the branch alongside Korean, and the branch's English booking flow is live on the official reservation center. What we will not promise in advance is which of the 13 doctors you will see on a given day.
13 doctors practise at the Myeongdong branch — 3 board-certified specialists and 10 general physicians, as registered with HIRA, Korea's Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. That is the largest medical team of the three Abijou branches with their own site.
For toxin you pick the preparation rather than being handed an unnamed one — domestic, premium domestic, German-made and US-made products are listed separately with separate prices, so what you are paying for is named before you agree to it. The devices listed on this page are only those that appear on this branch's treatment menu in the official reservation center, so the list can be checked against a source we do not control.
Eleven: Ultherapy PRIME, Shurink Universe and Liftera on focused ultrasound; Thermage, Oligio, InMode, Tune Face, V-RO 2 Advance and XERF on radiofrequency; ONDA on microwave; and Soprano Titanium. Each has its own price page on this branch's menu in the official reservation center, which is how you can confirm a device is here rather than at another branch.
No to both. All payments are made at the clinic during your visit, and payment cannot be made through the website at all. Holding a booking costs you nothing up front, and there is no cancellation charge to recover because nothing was taken.
You can see them first. Per-treatment prices for the Myeongdong branch are published on the official reservation center — pricing is not held back until a consultation. These are non-covered services and VAT is not included, and promotional prices change, so check again close to your visit date.
The price you are quoted is the published official price list, quoted as it stands. There is no separate foreign-patient rate. The final payment can differ from the listed figure only because of a special offer or promotional period in effect at the time of your visit, which applies to everyone booking in that period.
What is settled: all payment is made in person at the clinic, there is no deposit, and nothing is charged online in advance.
Walk-ins are accepted, but you may have to wait. Sunday and weekday evenings are the slots that fill first at this branch, so picking a time on the official reservation center or messaging the KakaoTalk channel first will usually save you the queue.
Downtime differs by treatment, and the interval to leave before flying is a clinical judgement rather than a fixed rule. Bring your departure date to the consultation — the plan is set after your skin is examined, and a near-term flight changes what is sensible to do.
Tell us your dates at the consultation and the plan is built around them rather than around a standard course. Medical facial programs are also used to get skin into condition before and after a procedure, which is often what fits a short trip.
Eight categories and 61 items: 11 laser lifting treatments, 10 botox and facial contouring items, 9 skin boosters, 7 body contouring treatments, 7 medical facials, 6 filler and facial volume items, 5 anti-aging treatments and 5 pigmentation, acne and pore treatments, plus a freely combined Custom Packages option. The full list with prices is on the official reservation center.
Yes. This site is the Myeongdong branch's own page; abijouonline.com is the Abijou Medical Clinic official site and reservation center. Abijou opened in Gangnam in 2006 and the Myeongdong branch followed in March 2007; the network now runs 16 branches across Korea. Booking, the full price list and the terms of service all live on the official site.
